New PhD student - Daniel Everett

Daniel's project will analysis the mechanics of cartilage of varying quality under load both macro- and microscopically, aiming to develop a model that functionally links this behaviour with data obtained through OCT, with the intended goal of improving clinical diagnosis of osteoarthritis.

Daniel's supervisors are Professor Ashvin Thambyah (Chemical and Materials Engineering) and Professor Frederique Vanholsbeeck (Physics).
